Chapter Excellence Award for
Worldwide Activities

Congratulations to Badger APIC!!!
Linda McKinley has received notification from the National APIC -Nominating Committee that Badger APIC is the recipient of the Chapter Excellence Award for Worldwide Activities. Thanks to all members for your support of this Chapter Goal.
Special thanks to Linda McKinley and DeAnn Richards and the efforts of both our International Committee and the Nominating & Awards Committee in completing the application and submitting it to the National Nominating Committee for consideration.
Another awesome job of representing our chapter's spirit of sharing and networking! The excitement with this effort continues as we plan to meet with Rose Ngugi from our Sister Chapter at the State Conference and for her to network with members at some site visits to member facilities as well. More to come on the itinerary for her visit in the April Newsletter.
As a reminder, here is the criteria and description fo the Chapter Excellence Award.

Members of the APIC Nominating Committee will evaluate each application and supporting documentation. Chapters will be scored based on meeting the criteria listed below for each category. The Chapter given the highest score (above the score identified as minimally acceptable) in each category will be given the Chapter Excellence Award for that category. Second highest scoring Chapter will be given honorable mention. Each Chapter may submit applications in no more than three (3) categories per year. The decision of the Nominating and Awards Committee is final.
Worldwide Activities - This award is given to the Chapter that best demonstrates excellence in identifying, developing, and enhancing activities worldwide to improve the practice of infection prevention and control and to promote the effective application of healthcare epidemiology.
